Karson spent his youth in the concert halls of the Bay Area.His love for music brought him to radio in the late `70`s..He got his radio start @ KBSU FM in Boise, Idaho for where he did  blues ,jazz and eclectic mix shows(much like KPIG) for 6 yrs...He spent the late `80`s and early `90`s bugging Laura Ellen for airshifts..He joined the KPIG family in March of 1998..He has worked nearly every shift in the last 12 yrs..He now holds down the evenings Mon-Fri. 8PM-1AM..He calls it the "All Night Mudd"
