Maracas came to the Shelter as a stray after a concerned citizen found him and was unable to care for him themselves. Sadly, a member of his family passed away, and he proved a bit too strong for the remaining family member to handle. Since his arrival, he has stolen the hearts of everyone he meets. The shelter volunteers affectionately know him as a "big sweetheart" who just wants to love and be loved.
