Pet-O-Rama: Knife and Fork (Two Kittens!)Week of August 3rd, 2026Knife and Fork, this week's this week's Pets of the Week at the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter were found in a Watsonville mobile home park about 3 weeks ago, struggling with respiratory illness and outdoor life. They've recovered well under the shelter's care, and now it's time for these two cuties to find the indoor home of their dreams! Note: The shelter's adoption fee for kittens is $150, but because kittens thrive with trusted playmates, they'll always consider 2-for-1 adoption fees if you're adopting a bonded pair! And that fee is an incredible bargain, because it always includes a microchip, spay or neuter surgery, and age-appropriate vaccinations! For more info, and to find out about upcoming Shelter events, read the full post, listen to Pet-O-Rama at 11am Thursdays here on the pig or visit the shelter, located at 1001 Rodriguez St. in Santa Cruz and open from 11am to 6pm every day.
