Pet-O-Rama: PicklesWeek of September 21st, 2026Meet Pickles, the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter Pet of the Week! Pickles arrived at the shelter at the end of July through no fault of his own. Sadly, a member of his family passed away, and he proved a bit too strong for the remaining family member to handle. Since his arrival, he has stolen the hearts of everyone he meets. The shelter volunteers affectionately know him as a "big sweetheart" who just wants to love and be loved.
