These week, it's an even DOZEN for the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter's PETS of the Week. Putter is one of TWELVE puppies who were found with their mom in the woods in mid-May.  The mother has been amazing, letting staff and volunteers help raise her puppies and now they are ready to be adopted!  The golf-themed names come from one of the shelter's incredible donors, who hosted a fundraiser at the Bayonet Black Horse golf course for the shelter in April.

The puppies are social, cute, fuzzy and will likely grow to up to be some kind of Shepherd mix since the mom looks like a Dutch Shepherd.  Please come down and meet Putter, Divot, Jack, Driver, Rory, Chip and the rest of the siblings. And to start you off on the right foot with your new puppy, take advantage of our Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter Foundation "Pawsitivity Bucks" program, which provides a $200 training voucher for every dog adopted.

Purrlates for a Purpose Fundraiser.  
Tickets are $30 and the class takes place at Yoga with Robin in the Capitola mall.

Registration is now open , and prices are EXTRA low this time, to reach lower-income pet owners: $15 for cats, $129 for dogs.
